what recourse does someone have if the person who works with you as an advocate for victims has an affair with your husband. being the wife, I was suspended with pay until the company can figure things out.. why not her

Probably because the company doesn't have a clue how to handle this. You should engage an employment law attorney in your area so they can help push the company in the right direction for you. It sounds like that tramp should be fired.
