Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Florida
My former company owes me $3,800 in expense money that I paid out of pocket. I submitted and was told it was approved, after I departed the manager changed the requirements and told me they were denied. This is not pay but expenses, what can I do?

It depends under what terms they agreed to the reimbursement. You can always sue in small claims court for the return of the money, but you will need to support it with whatever documentation you do have. If they paid these items on normal payroll in the past, there is an argument to be made that it is wages and therefore there would be an attorney fee entitlement. Seek some legal help with all your documents.
