can I do anything about this?
a girl I have trained in my boxing gym for many years deiced to open a gym the same as mine which is fine but opened it one the same street also the last fight I had at my gym soliciting my customers out side with flyers ect.. on my property!!!! her and her boyfriend I am loosing clients I understand new gym but is there anything I can do she is giving me a bad name and the soliciting to my clients and people that come to my gym to see fights they is planning to hold fights now at there gym I understand compition ect.. But I trained her and is there anything I can do about this??? if they had even gone a few blocks away not two buildings ?

It is the beauty of capitalism. Without a prior non-compete agreement you are probably out of luck.

There's probably nothing you can do, but if she is stealing your customers by saying untruthful things about you or your gym, you may be able to sue her on either or both of two counts: tortious interfernce with an ongoing business relationship and/or defamation. You should speak with a lawyer to see if either of these two actions apply.
