Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Florida

Injury Law Suit

I was injured over 4 years ago in a falling accident at an apartment complex. An Attorney friend of mine recommended another attorney to handle my case. I signed papers with this particular attorney, but after four years of doctors and ananlysist. Operation after operation --- I find out that this Attorney never even filed any court papers -- until about a month before the 4 year period of allowance. Can I take legal action against this attorney for pain and suffering? Also for loss of money due to continious medical bills that I still am incurring. Also I have been not been able to work or keep a job because of this disability. Now that I am poor, and have another attorney - Can I sue this other attorney????

Re: Injury Law Suit

You can but you will probably be better off just going forward with you current attorney, if you have faith in them. I'd suggest you try to win the most important battle first.
