Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Florida
Is it legal for a company to have a contest only to people who have a Facebook account? Since I don't have a Facebook account and really have no interest in ever getting one, am I really not allowed to participate? Isn't it discrimination?

Discrimination is not unlawful unless it is based on certain class criteria (e.g. sex, race, religion, national origin, disability, family status, age). For example business are allowed to discriminate against people who do not have enough money to pay for their services. To my knowledge, Facebook participation has never been litigated but I doubt it would be considered a protected class.
