Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Florida

liability

My son broke a window of a car throwing mulch and rocks at the cars owners son as the two were throwing things back and forth. Non-malicious.

I did pay for the window as I feel morally responsible but was curious if I was legally respononsible

Parents are liable for the actions of their minor children, at least for this type of thing.
