How long can my Attorney hold my settlement check
I wanted to know what I can do to get my check.
It has been seven Months and too many lies !
what can be done legally ?

It depends on the reason he is holding it. Is there an outstanding lien? Sometimes the government takes FOREVER to give you a lien figure from which you can negotiate. Seven months is unusually long, but it would depend on the circumstances and the "lies" -- so i would need more information to really know if something is amiss.
