Personal Loan
a Good friend of mine want to borrow 15,0000, and i dont want to get contracts written due to our friendship, however how can i protect myself without signing legal paperwork. if i could write a check and show as a loan, with a note from my friend and get it notorized, would that protect me?

You cannot protect yourself without a contract. I don't understand why you would not want a contract due to your friendship. Contracts protect friendships, they do not hurt them. If your friend does not want a contract, then he or she is not really much of a friens. If you don't want a contract, that is very very foolish.
