Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Florida
Privacy Violation
I applied online for eployment at a department store. My husbands brother and his girlfriend work for the same company but a different location than the one I applied at. Without my knowlegde they contacted the front end manager of the store and were provided access to view my application and test results.I am very upset that they were allowed to view my personal information and I feel that this is a violation of my privacy. I would like to know if I have any rights to pursue this legally.

Re: Privacy Violation
Complain to Human Resources at the store itself. You probably don't have any realistical way to pursue this yourself, since it does not appear that you sufferred any injury. Beware, reporting this could get your husband's brother and/or girlfriend fired and may therefore cause some intra-family problems. Tread lightly.
