Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Florida

Retirement

My boss has given us 13 to 20% of our salary for retirement (sep)plan since I became eligible after 3 years of work. I have now been here 18 years and he has changed our retirement plan this year to a profit sharing plan and has contributed alot less. Is this legal? I have nothing in writing, we only have a verbal agreement that this was to be given to me each year. Do I have legal case against him to get the remainder of the money?

Re: Retirement

No -- not really. He can change the retirement plan or even eliminate it if he follows the federal laws that control this. without something in writing that would provide a contract to sue on, i think that you are out of luck.
