Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Florida

subpeona?

I have a possible subpeona coming for testimony (witness) in a robbery case in Maine. I live in Florida and have 2 children and my husband is the only one who works. I have no money for daycare and he cannot get out of work to do this. what can i do as an alternative? Can i make a testimony in a local courthouse? or possibly video tape one?

Re: subpeona?

Call the prosecutor. A proper subpoena is required to have a witnness fee that will compensate you for travel. Contact the person that sent you the subpoena.
