Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in Florida

In 2008 I had my right hip replaced and developed a nasty infection that I had to go to the wound clinic, they had to reopen, husband had to pack and unpack wound, had IV in my arm at home for I believe 6 weeks. The hospital has since closed and reopened in another location. It is believed it was closed as it was full of infection. Statute of limitations? Do I have a case?

Statute of limitations on the claim was 2 years.
