Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in Florida
legal malpractice
My attorney put in emergency motion for direction on my case when i asked him if he ever heard anything on it .he told me that he never received answer to my emergency motion and he withdrew as my attorney 2 weeks after he received answer to motion.
so i ended up settling my case for a small amount
now i found out on my own that he did get reply on motion but never acted on it and kept it from me

I am not sure what you mean by an emergency "motion for direction." There is nothing like that under Florida Rules. What was the motion about? You'll need to provide more facts to get any real answer to your question. Feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss your problems in greater detail.
