You cannot require a bank or finance company to remove your name from a loan. This is usually handled by the husband agreeing to make the payments and indemnify you in the event he doesn't and the bank comes after you for the money. This is not a great situation but normally the best you can do. I have also seen an agreement where husband would agree to refinance the house and vehicle into his own name. This is tough to enforce as he may not qualify for a new loan with his assets/income alone and you can't force the bank to give him a loan
