Financially Responsible
I recently let my neighbors newly licensed child drive my automobile. She crashed into my garage by accident and now I have damages to my automobile and garage. Who is financially responsible, myself or the parents of the minor? I did allow this individual to drive with me present, does this make me fully liable?

Re: Financially Responsible
No, you are not fully liable. The driver is liable. I suspect that she has insurance. The parent that signed for her license is also liable. Your home owner's policy and/or car insurance may also cover the loss.
