Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida
Abortion
I had an abortion, only to end up having an emergency surgery 10 days later because the
doctor did not remove all contents. Ive endured much pain and stress due to this.Should i talk to a lawyer and file a suit against the doctor and the clinic?

Re: Abortion
I would consult an attorney, but the mere fact that the procedure resulted in complications does not mean there was malpractice. The attorney will need to obtain an expert opinion. The cost of the opinion could exceed $500. Doctors win 2 of 3 malpractice cases that go to trial. Depending on your damages it may not be worth pursuing, but it certainly doesn't hurt to ask, especially if you can find an attorney willing to pay for the expert opinion.
