Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida
Have a Case?
I went to a doctor to take a pregnancy test which was deemed positive. Following the next few blood tests the pregnancy hormone was not increasing normally and I was told I had a miscarriage. I was never given a physical exam nor was I scheduled for a follow-up exam. I also had no more blood tests done following this. Soon after I was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. I was told there I had to have my fallopion tube removed because I had a tubal pregnancy which was why my hormone was not increasing properly. I almost died because of the substancial lose of blood when my tube ruptured. I have now been out of work for 7 weeks and still can not be cleared to work. That is not to mention all of the medical bills I have incured. I am thinking of pursuing taking legal action against the doctor(s) who could have cost me my life by their negligence. Do you think it is in my best intrest to take legal action?

Re: Have a Case?
Tubal pregnancies are extremely difficult cases to pursue. You should see a lawyer with medical malpractice experience. He or she will need to review your medical records.
