Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

My dad was in a nursing home due to alztimers. He was givien a drug that we found shouldn,t be given to alztimers as it could cause death. When my mom found out she had them stop giving him this drug. However, approx. 2 weeks later my dad died and the death cert said heart failure. Could this have been because of the drugs?
