Employment termination

Can an employer terminant employment of an employee who claims an on the job injury and files a workman compensation claim after an employement period of only working five days. Workman Compensation insurance will pay all medical expenses and any disability benefits due the employee Or must the employer take back the employee after said employee

obtains a release from a doctor and is deemed to be capable of assuming all job related duties.
