Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida
I was taken to the ER on 3 seperate occasions for severe abdominal pain. The first 2 occasions, they did a catscan and found nothing. They gave me pain medication and sent me home. the 3rd occasion, The ER doctor ordered an ultrasound and it was discovered that my gall bladder was infected and required emergency surgery. Do I have any legal options regarding the first 2 occasions b/c a doctor should know that catscans do not recognize gall bladder options but an ultrasound will?

You would need to prove that the first two times the doctors fell below the standard of care and at least one those times you sustained significant injuries because of the delay.
