My fiance s doctors office called her mother and stated her daughter had a std. The mother then informed all friends and family I had given her daughter a std. Subsequent custody battle to follow. Do I have any legal recourse

You have no recourse if the statement is true. If you did give your fiance an std, then all she did was provide truthful information to others.
