Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

Hi,

I had a plastic surgery procedure done and before the surgery the doctor agreed to what i wanted done which was not much. He told me that i had to be under anesthesia to get the procedure done and i woke up to something totally different from what we agreed upon. He ended up liposuctioning most of my body without permission and adding the fat to an area without my permission. Since my surgery I have had pain every day and just recently found out after tons of doctor visits that i have bulging discs where he took out too much fat in my back, nerve damage as well as water retention that i will have to get treated for forever. I had been really depressed because of everything he did to me without my permission and the unnecessary pain i am going through because he did not do what i asked but did what he wanted to do. The worst part is that the issue i wanted fixed was not even fixed and now my body looks terrible. The whole point of getting the procedure was to feel better about myself and now I am not only uncomfortable with what he didn't fix but now i have new issues. He broke a lot of rules and now I am suffering for his choice. If he had stuck to what was agreed upon I would not have had any of this issues. I don't understand how someone can clearly say they are going to do something and then do the opposite of what they were supposed to or think it is ok for them to change other parts of your body without your permission. Are there lawyers that would work with such a case?
