Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

Medical Mishap

I had an elective laproscopic hysterectomy (removal of uterus only). Two days later my bladder ruptured at home. Hospital refused to accept insurance money only, they still what my portion, do I have a right to sue??? Do I have to pay for the doctor's mistake???
