Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

My mother was prescribed new medication last week. Last night, she died from a reaction to medicine. She was not married, and she has no children under 25. This is in Florida. Are there any options, before we move towards the cremation?

Medical malpractice does not exist for adult children in Florida. Check with an appropriate attorney. Cremation will end the opportunity to explore and make sure that the medication alone caused the death,
