Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida
My son had a procedure at Tampa General to remove his gall bladder and the doctor forgot to clam him off which then led to my child bleeding internally and kidneys failing, and also on a venilator. I wanted to know if me and the father are not together would we have to do a seperate lawsuit. I need advice.

Each parent is entitled to separate counsel but if the relationship is amicable and agreeable, one attorney representing the child via both parents as co-guardians is preferable. One captain of the ship is best and the parents should pursue the case together if they can agree on one attorney. If a conflict between the parents later develops, they could still seek independent legal advice from separate attorneys.
