discharge upgrade

i went to operation iraqi freedom in 2003 in a ADA unit, when i came home i had trouble sleeping and was paranoid. anyway i went out and tried a drug to kind of get a way. i poped on a urine test. i received a general under honorable with misconduct narative. i recently have been diagnoised with PTSD through my local VA clinic. i put a claim in and went to my compensation apointment last week. can i upgrade my discharge do to having mental disorder that was overlooked?
