Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

My 15 year old son is being sued for a car accident, he lives with his father who has physical custody of him. Am i still liabile for the law suit. My son lives with his dad and he and his step mom signed for him to get his restricted license, and his step mom owns the car he was driving and he was not on their insurance and she was in the car withhim.
