Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida
About 8 years ago I was involved in an auto accident - someone turned in front of me. She was found to be at fault and her insurance covered having my car repaired. At the time, I didn't go to the hospital because I was only hit in the face by the airbag.
Now, several years later, I find that a ton of the problems I am having (heavy snoring, waking up many times a night, sinus issues that I never had before), these all stem from a deviated septum. This was most likely caused when my face hit the air bag. I have never had any other trauma to my nose/face.
This is going to cost me at least $2k to have corrected...that's with my insurance (BCBS of FL).
I checked my files and I must have thrown the accident documentation away when I sold that car...
Is there a case? Can I somehow get the other insurance company to pay my medical expenses?

The statute of limitations in FL is 4 years for personal injury, this being 8 years later bars recovery.
In Florida the statute of limitations is only four years for this type of personal injury case. It looks like you won't be able to file a suit.
