Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Was in an accident this morning. Lady that hit me left the scene but was found. Has no insurance or license. I do not have full coverage on my car as it is a 1997 and not worth very much. Still it is in good working order and paid for. I don't have money to go out a purchase a new car and I am sure this one will be totaled. Do you have any suggestions?

Don't think trying to sue the other person [is an employee where I work] will be an option because may be illegal.

Hello - I am sorry to hear about what happened. You may have insurance coverage through someone that lives with you and is related to you by blood or marriage. It would have to be uninsured motorist coverage.
