Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

advice please!

A man on a motorcycle sped past our house down the street (a small sidestreet) while my husband was handwatering the lawn. On the man's return trip, my husband held the hose (in clear view) so it would spray into the street, since he saw the man revving his engine to speed past our house again. The man rode by as my husband was lowering the hose, and then began swearing at my husband as he was driving past our house (looking backward, over his shoulder). Approx 150 ft from our house, he slams on his brakes in anger and pitches his bike forward, causing it--and him--to fall. He again yells at my husband, saying that he is going to call the police and tell them that it's my husband's fault that he fell. We took photos of where he ditched the bike--which was approx 150 ft from where my husband was spraying the hose. We just rec'd a letter from the man's attorney asking for our homeowner's info pursuant to Florida Statue. Do we have to give it to him?

Re: advice please!

The law requires yo to provide insurance information, alkthough there is no penalty for violating that law. You should, though, immediately contact your homeowner's insurance policy.
