Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Auto Accident a year ago

I was in an auto accident a year ago

and the parties in the other vehicle

were injured. My insurance company

( Auto Club South ) is offering them

the policy limit for the injuries

incurred, but evidently it might not

be enough. Today I recieved an Asset

Affidavit from the other parties law

firm by Certified Mail. Knowing that

my house and auto canot be

touched, what should I do as far

filling it out and signing it? Am I

obligated to do that? Also, I own a

duplex rental property in addition

which holds a $123,000 mortgage. If

I tell them about it, can/will they try

to get more money from me? I am

trying to get some kind of an idea

before I need to get representation

on this issue. Please let me know if

you can offer any info on his

issue........Thanks.......

This is an extremely important topic that is really cannot be appropriately answered on a board like this. You need an attorney to advise you about what to do. Do not delay in getting one immediately.
