Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida
To Black Ball or Slander?
Recently I made the decision to begin handling dogs for other people. This has a professional handler in my area up in arms and making threats through mutual aqquintances that she intends to ''black ball'' and ''ruin'' me. She has also told untruths to other mutual business people insinuating that I have acted in a way I have not. Do I have any recourse?

Re: To Black Ball or Slander?
Quite frankly, your question does not provide sufficient facts to allow an attorney to give you any meaningful advice. You may have a basis to make a claim for tortious interference with a business relationship or slander, but you would need to meet with a qualified litigator to learn whether the situation you find yourself in allows you to make such claims, assuming that's the course of action you want to take. Good luck.
