Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I broke a toe in 2010 at a free event, there was a lot of people and I could not leave the line because of how crowded it was, eventually lost my friends and ended up alone in the crowd, police came to help with the situation but they were far behind my location, while that was happening, I felt a very strong pain in my foot, at first I thought several of my toes were severed since the force was so strong that I had to pull my foot out of my shoe, after I broke my toe, I was STILL trapped in the line and police at this point were pushing people so it got more hectic, I was really traumatized at this point and I managed to make it out and hopped to safety, took my sock off and realized all my toes were there, however one was broken entirely, I realized this when I got the x-ray at the doctors office. After I gained walking function, my toe has persistenly been hurting, when I try to run, I played soccer once about a year after it happened and my foot cramps when I kick the ball and my toe hurts as well, I had to leave my job back in 2014 as a server because standing or walking for a while made me limp in pain because of the toe pain, can I still get compensation for what happened 5 years ago from the nightclub that hosted the party? I'm concerned some day I might have to amputate it or it could paralyze my foot and I have no medical insurance and I really want to get it checked out/fixed. Is this is a possible case? Please help.

Hard to see what was the duty that was breached that caused your injury. that said the statute of limitations on a personal injury claim based on negligence is 4 years. if your incident happened 5 years ago, your claims have expired.
