Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

My brother injured his knee on the job. It will take about 12-14 days for him to recover and get back to work. Workers comp will pay after 7 days. Will short term disability cover his lost pay during these 7 days?

If he has short term disability insurance, he needs to look at the language of the policy to determine this.
