Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

My brother in Volusia county florida ate a bunch of his prescribed medication in a suicide attempt..His third attempt in as many months Afterwards he thought he needed some milk,and totalled his truck on the way to the store.. He was the only one involved in the wreck ..He did not get hurt,but he has been in the hospital for the last four days..They told him he would be taken to a different facility in the morning.. I know on at least one of his other attempts he was held for 72 hrs... My question is where do you think they'll take him and for how long????P.S the reason for the suicidal attempts is divorse

Probably a psych ward. Your brother needs help and soon. Public help stinks. The ward or hospital will let him out as soon as they think he is not an immediate danger to himself or others. He needs real doctors and prolonged and on hands treatment, or he will kill himself or someone else, or close to it. If public help is all he can get, then try to get him in a program that is in-house for as long as they can take him.

How do I know all of this? My brother in law went thru this and is not a vegetable in a nursing home. He lied his way out of treatment and to us until one day he destroyed his brain.
