Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Car Accident

myself and children were involved in an car accident. The insurance company was sued but they didn't pay enough to cover all the medical bills. How can I go about suing the driver to make him pay for these bills and any future bills without me being punished to pay for something he caused? I myself suffered a broken ankle that had to be repaired with rods and screws and I suffer pain everyday, and will continue to for the rest of my life. I will never be able to run with my children again. Please help me!

The information you provide is confusing. Generally, there is up to $10,000 in no fault medical coverage. You then have the right to make a claim against the offending party for fair compensation for your injuries. You should have had an attorney to represent you.
