Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida
Two car accident - no fault assigned
I was in an accident earlier this year. The result was because the witnesses on both sides were biased and gave conflicting stories, no one was cited for the accident. The other driver was taken by ambulance to the hospital. I refused treatment initially, but went to an urgent care center a few days later for a chest contusion and sprained ankle. My insurance company has taken care of all my bills, minus deductible. During a recent conversation with my adjuster, I found out the other driver has retained an attorney and is suing me for medical. The adjuster explained that it will likely come to nothing, but I want to know what my rights are. Should I contact an attorney?

Probably no need. Your insurance company will provide you with an attorney.
