Your no fault insurance would pay for the medical bills. If you had no car or had no one in your household who had insurance than the owner's insurance of the car you were in would pay. the other driver only pays for medical bills if they had liability insurance and a permanent injury justifies pursuing them. If you do not have car insurance in your own name, and if the accident happened in Florida you would be entitled to Florida automobile no-fault benefits under your fiance's policy. Any medical bills or lost wages not covered by no-fault, plus your injuries, pain, suffering and disability would be against the at-fault and their insurance company.
