Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Car Accident

I was recently involved in a car accident and was given the citation. My insurance covered the accident. I went to court and the other driver didnt show so the citation was thrown out. 6 months later the other driver is suing for injuries she claims she sustained during the crash. 45,000 to be exact. How do find out how much the medical bills really are worth? and what can I do to decrease how much money comes out of my pocket?

Re: Car Accident

You will not be out of pocket at all provided you maintained liability coverage on the vehicle. Your insurance company will provide you with an attorney and the defense. You need to contact your insurer if you have not already done so.

Your insurance carrier will protect you up to the limits of your liability policy. Retain a private attorney for the excess.
