I know you are serious, but Mr. Klisz made me laugh.

You would have to prove that someone was negligent. You did not say that the person who was bitten died, so I assume that there was a rescue squad involved.

I'm not making fun at you because this is a legitimate question, but honestly, who do you think is responsible if a person jumps in the water and gets bitten by a shark? You assume the risk by engaging in an inherently dangerous activity.

I'm a skiier, and I love the water. But, if a bull shark bites off one of my limbs, it's probably my fault.

Get well soon.

In recent past, I jumped into a lake which is known to be infested with alligators. I came out un-scathed, thank goodness, but if one of those gators ate half of me, I don't think I could sue anyone.

How do you sue a shark? If it was a person, it would clearly be in Florida. www.kliszlaw.com Tim Klisz
