Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

A co-worker backed into my car and did about 1,000 dollars worth of damage. He does not have insurance and promised that he will take care of all repaires however it has been about a month and nothing has been done. I gave him an estimate and he said that it was too much and I agreed to bring my car anywhere he chooses. He has been avoiding me and making excuses of why he cant meet me at local body shops. Is there anything that I can do?

If you have collission coverage, you can make a claim with your own carrier. If not, you have 4 years from the date of accident to sue him in small claims court.
