Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

dangerous roadways

i was involved in a single car accident with a work vehical during non work hours (i was cleaning it for next day business). the roads were wet and i lost control slamming into a gard rail totaling the vehical. this happened on private shopping mall property. luckly no one was hurt but i was wondering if i can do anything considering this road is noturious for accidents, should the mall people be doing somethjing to make that area safer for people driving?

Re: dangerous roadways

It would depend on a number of other facts. What is the speed limit there? I suspect it is not a 40 mph road -- but you totaled the car, which suggests excessive speed. If you were driving in a reasonable fashion and there were other accidents of people driving in a similar fashion, then there might be something wrong with the design of the road. If everyone justs drives too fast on the road, however, it is unlikely that you could successfully bring a claim.
