Yes. Legally you are responsible for the payment of all obligations. If you do not pay, then the medical provider will seek payment directly from you. This may include suing you in the county court and/or placing negative information on your credit history. You should speak with your attorney and convince him/her to negotiate a better amount with the medical provider who is owed the money.
