Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida
display chair collapses in store and injures my shoulder and back
at a service merchandise store i was looking at office furniture . as i sat down on a display posture chair the chair broke and colapsed to the flore...i fell backwards against a desk and on to the floor injuring my shoulder, back and neck. i required an immediate trip to the emergency room , additional doctor visits and am currently in physical therapy. the store paid for my e.r. visit but claims any other charges are the responsibility of the chair manufacturer and claim i have no recourse with the store. i am self employed and the store says i have no claim for loss of time, wages, medical bill recovery, pain and suffering, or any any legal responsibility from the store...what should i do as i have already lost so much financially from this accident..isnt the store responsible??
