Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida
Dog Bite Claim
A magazine salesman was pounding on our door when trying to get my daughter to open it because he said he wanted water. My daughter put the dog in the garage so he wouldn't bother anyone. I came home from work and opened the garage door to put a trashcan away. Our dog got out and jumped at the salesman. There was no discernable injury except a scratch and a rip on the sleeve of his shirt. Anyway, he left saying all was fine but came back later demanding money or he would sue. We called the police and he quickly decided to leave. Now, a week later we received a notice that a registered letter was attempted to be delivered from a personal injury attorney. What should I do?

Re: Dog Bite Claim
If you have insurance, forward the letter to your insurance carrier. If not, call me since you will need experienced legal representation to defend the claim.

If you are sued, you should hire a lawyer in your defense.
