Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida
My father worked for Ford in the 60's and 70'
He died at the age of 34 with heart problem.
He was exposed to something at the plant and he inhaled it and after that he got sick he went to the dr at ford then went back to work but after that exposure he was ill and very weak and died of a heart attack.
I do believe whatever happened at that plant ultimately caused his death.Like maybe asbestos.
Can I get recourse my father is buried OH.

It appears that the conduct at issue would have occurred 40-50 years ago, and the death sometime in that range.
The applicable statute(s) of limitations probably ran on this claim long ago. Moreover, there would certainly be a challenge on proving the heart attack being caused by air quality or other conditions generated at his workplace (versus other possible causes). Whether any evidence exists to prove cause-and-effect is a huge question mark.
You reference exposure which occurred at manufacturing plants in or near Ohio. If there was no connection between Florida and the conduct and your father's illness and death, then Florida law would not apply.
Assuming everything occurred in Ohio, then Ohio law would apply. You should submit your question or consult an attorney in Ohio.
The claims, if any, are governed by the State where your father was potentially injured. I agree with Mr. Harris that the statute of limitations has likely run, but you need to check with an attorney from that State
