Re: Homeowner's Liability
You should report the accident to your homeowners insurance company as there may be medical payments coverage for an accident on your property and possible liability for the condition of your property. You should consult with an attorney regarding the owners liability for your son's injury. How old is your son? These off road vehicles are terribly dangerous. Many have been killed or seriously injured with liability placed on the manufacturers.

You may have some possible liability if the party can show that your property is somehow the cause of the accident. You should immediately report this accident to your homeowner's insurance carrier and let them defend against any claim. The child's contributory negligence will be considered in any decision regarding the claim.

You need to contact your insurance agent to report this incident and get their guidance on your policy. You may be liable also.
