Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

My husband told the lawyer to see what he could get But I have to talk to my wife first. Is that Permission to settle the case when he said But I have to talk to my wife first, To me that said see what they will offer and then tell the client so he can discuss it with his wife and then tell the lawyer yes or no Is that not right?

Unless your husband signed a general release, he does not have to agree to the settlement.
