Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida
I was injured in a car accident approximately six years ago. I am still awaiting the mediation date. I have lost some days from work recently and I am still in pain. Is there assistance that I can receive until my suit is settled? I have to pay bills and care for my family.

Check with court and your attorney as to the status of the case.
If you have a good case, there are companies that will finance.
You are in suit, I hope, as the statute of limitations on negligence is 4 years. If you had PIP and it was not exhausted then you can make claims for lost wages through that. As Mr. Slater mentions there are firms that will make advances against your future case resolution. It will cost a significant amount of money. Make sure to discuss this all with your attorney
