Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I was involved in a car accident last October, in which I was the passenger and the other car was at fault. I suffered a few injuries and went into the ER and therapy after. I am trying to settle a claim with the at-fault's insurance adjuster. My medical bills are a total of $2,600. I have read that I am entitled to 3 times the medical expenses in pain and suffering. I had to drop out of my semester as a result of the car accident, which made me lose my financial aid and work-study, which has put me 4 months, (about $2,500) behind in rent, and I am about to get evicted. I also need to find a way to pay for my classes for this upcoming semester, as my financial aid is still suspended. My question is, how much am I actually entitled to, legally, as far as pain and suffering goes, and how much can I negotiate with the insurance adjuster? I have lost so much because of this car accident, and a settlement that only pays my medical bills will help, but not be nearly enough. Please help, thank you.
